I'm used to surly sounding music of all strains, but behind the snarling sense of outrage on this lo-fi punk treat, is a weirdly affirming and purposeful mood. It's angry, but not directionless or even intimidating. It really sounds like the band are going to lovingly and oh-so-politely hand you a brick to toss at a nazi or whatever. Also, be a dear and check out their recent charity track Petrostate and chuck a few coins in their direction. Ben Harris
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
